

BRADENTON, FL — A Monday afternoon shooting in the 100 block of 10th Avenue W. is under investigation, according to a Bradenton Police Department news release.
Officers patrolling the area heard gunfire just after 5 p.m. As they responded in the direction of the shots, they saw a vehicle speeding away, police said.
When the vehicle crashed near the intersection of 13th Avenue W. and 1st Street/U.S. 301, the driver and passengers ran from the crash site. One person was quickly detained while three others were found later, BPD said. There were no injuries in the crash.

Three victims were found at the scene of the shooting and brought to local hospitals. Police aren’t releasing victim information or their conditions.
