7 suspects shot guns more than 60 times in Bradenton shooting: police - Sarasota Herald-Tribune

The Bradenton Police Department has named seven suspects in a January shooting that left a 28-year-old man dead.

While committing an alleged robbery, the suspects shot their guns more than 60 times, hitting three victims on Jan. 23 at the 100 block of 10th Avenue West.

One man died from his injuries on Tuesday. A second victim remains hospitalized, and a third victim had non-life-threatening injuries. Their names are not being released due to Marsy’s Law.

A gray car left the area moments after the shooting at a high speed and crashed near the intersection of 13th Avenue West and First Street. The driver and passengers ran away from the crash site, and four people were detained from the crash, according to police.

Investigators have either arrested or have active warrants for armed robbery and first-degree murder charges for Tyreak Allen, 20, Mekhai Booker, 17, Dorian Brooks, 24, Kevion Brooks, 22, Kobe Brooks, 19, Jerome Williams, 20, and Shamar Mobley, 20.
