Tiny Gator Swept From Lobby Of FL Restaurant: Watch

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Deputies used a broom to sweep a tiny gator from outside a Bradenton Peach’s restaurant, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said.

The agency shared a video of the gator being pushed away from the eatery on State Road 70 just before 6 a.m. set to the song “See You Later, Alligator” by Bill Haley & His Comets to its Instagram page. (Watch the video below.)

“They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day and this (gator) was ready for it when employees found him patiently waiting for them to open the Peach’s,” the sheriff’s office wrote in a post.

The video shows Deputy Hartley sweeping the feisty little gator out of the lobby, down a sidewalk and behind the building, where he was pushed “off to a more comfortable wooded area,” HCSO said.
